The essential democratic practices are as follows:

1 It is the duty of members to vote on the affairs of the TDC, especially on important issues.

2 Only proposals which have obtained not less than 50% + 1 of the members shall be adopted.

3 Representatives of the members, elected or not, are servants of the members and never their masters or rulers. And like all servants, they are, at any time, hired or fired at the absolute prerogative of the members in accordance with the service terms set by the members.

The first 2 practices would do away with the deceptions or cheatings that have been, for centuries in various places, built on or around the “silent majority”, especially when seemingly democratic procedures which count “silent” or “disabled” votes as part of the votes in favour of the proposals or candidates or disregarding them altogether, creating or establishing false majorities or the legal fiction majorities.

In other words, a proposal or candidate has majority (at least 50% + 1) support or it simply does not.

Both “silent” and “disabled” votes are, in fact, imaginary or fictional votes, the former is when the voter has, for his own reason, failed to vote and the later is when the voter has been effectively prevented from voting, especially when there is no contest.
